KA100
The KA100 is a world class engine manufactured by IAME. It is a 100cc air cooled engine that is nationally raced all over the U.S. It has a top speed of 80 mph and has a lot more power than the Briggs Lo206.
After about a year of racing Lo206, Sally wanted to try something with more speed. The KA100 class was growing rapidly on a national level and at both of her home tracks, so her curiosity grew.
With the help of her dad, Robby Mott, she was able to start racing the high speed engine, but experienced an interesting learning curve.
That didn’t discourage her though, she focused a lot of her time studying other drivers and discussing with her coach. Not to mention the new level of physical challenge it brought her.
Everyday, Sally and her dad sit in their homemade simulator made with ply wood, a ribtect seat, a TV, and an outdated PS3. They play Grand Turismo 3 and drive the 240 mph Redbull F1 car. They compete against each other, taking turns beating each others lap times and discussing strategies to help each other become faster.
